How do you want to feel?
You probably initially looked into affirmations because you wanted something. That’s why I did it. I wanted to find a career I was uber passionate about. What is the thing that has been on your mind to create?
If you had the thing what would life be like? Would you have more money? Adventure? Passion? Health? Maybe more love?
More specifically, how would having the thing make you feel?
Really think about this because I can assure you the thing you want to create is only a representation of how you want to feel. The feeling is what you really, really, really want.
Affirmations are not about creating things. They are completely, utterly about creating feelings. Create the feeling first. That is what you are ultimately after. You can change careers, fall in love, travel, lose weight, do all of the things, and still feel depressed, unfulfilled and lazy.
On the other hand, if you go for the feeling and let the specific thing you want go, you find great “stuff” showing up in ways much better than you ever could have dreamed.

Think about what you want to create. How would that make you feel? Describe a scene that helps you conjure up that feeling right now. Where are you at? Who are you with? What are you doing? What are you wearing? Describe everything in detail.
Take time each morning to visualize the scene you have described.
